OUR 12-STEP PROCESS

OUR 12-STEP PROCESS FOR
TRANSFORMING PAIN TO INNER PEACE

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS - BEING COMPLETELY HONEST WITH YOURSELF:

1. What is disturbing my inner peace or causing me stress?

2. How disturbed or stressed out am I? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 means slightly irritated, and 10 means losing sleep at night).

3. What is my level of willingness to have inner peace around this situation RIGHT NOW? (on a scale of 1 to 10, If your willingness level is 6 or above continue. 1 to 3 means not ready yet, perhaps seek some coaching or counseling; 4 to 5 means you could be persuaded but may not be ready enough to commit to change; 6 or above means you are truly ready to shift from pain to peace right now).

4. What am I feeling right now? Describe how the situation makes you feel.

5. What is my INTENTION? You must set an intention to have inner peace around this situation right now by simply saying to yourself "I am ready, it is time." It is important to say you are ready. Then describe how you would like to feel, and how your life would be different if you felt differently.

Now the groundwork has been laid, it is now time to do the work and take back your power by using our 7 Principles for transforming Pain to Inner Peace. On paper, write down your answers to the following questions:

6. AWARENESS vs. ignorance: What do I need to look at? What is my responsibility here?

7 . ACCEPTANCE vs. resistance: What can I change? What do I need to accept?

8 . FORGIVENESS vs. blame: Who am I blaming? Am I WILLING to forgive? Level of willingness (must be 5 or higher to continue.)?

9 . GRATITUDE vs. expectations: What were my expectations? How have these served me? What can I be thankful for in this moment?

10. FAITH vs. fear: What am I afraid of? What do I need to have faith in? What new seeds of faith can I plant today?

11. SURRENDER vs. control: Am I WILLING to let go? Level of willingness (must be 8 or higher to continue)? What emotions have I been holding on to? What do I need to release?

12. SERVICE vs. withholding: Where have I been withholding? What do I need to give to others in order to heal my own thoughts? Now imagine yourself giving fully and completely that which you have been withholding. It does not matter to whom you are giving, just see yourself giving completely from your heart! Notice how this makes you feel inside. Now radiate this feeling outward, from the center of your heart. Now, focus on the painful or stressful situation and see the situation beginning to just melt away and become transformed right before you into a blissful state of peace and relaxation. Allow it to be, just allow.

Once you have answered the above questions openly and honestly and completed the process, ask yourself how you are currently feeling about the situation.  See if your feelings have been transformed.  If not, you may not have been completely honest with your responses or your willingness to shift.  Go back and repeat the process answering the questions again.  Set an intention to shift.  Freedom is a choice.
